When it is in a forward working state (i.e. with forward voltage applied at both ends), when the current flows from the LED anode to the cathode, the semiconductor crystal emits light of different colors from ultraviolet to infrared, and the strength of the light is related to the current. High power LED lights have low light attenuation and high light efficiency, and are widely used in various lighting fields such as street lamps, fluorescent lamps, spotlights, mining lamps, tunnel lamps, etc., receiving unanimous praise from the industry.

Half a century ago, humans had already mastered the basic principle that semiconductor materials can generate light. In 1960, diodes began to be commercialized. The core part of a light-emitting diode is a chip composed of p-type and n-type semiconductors, with a transition layer between the p-type and n-type semiconductors called a p-n junction. In the PN junction of certain semiconductor materials, when the injected minority carriers recombine with the majority carriers, excess energy is released in the form of light, thereby directly converting electrical energy into light energy. PN junction with reverse voltage makes it difficult to inject a few charge carriers, so it does not emit light. This type of diode made using the principle of injection type electroluminescence is called a light-emitting diode, commonly known as LED.

High brightness, low heat, and environmentally friendly LED lights are made of non-toxic materials, unlike fluorescent lights that contain mercury and cause pollution. At the same time, the LED materials inside the LED lights can also be recycled and reused.

3. The solid-state semiconductor device chip is used for independent packaging, with high luminous efficiency. A brightness of 1W can achieve the effect of 3W for ordinary fluorescent lamps, saving 60% of electricity. It has good light attenuation performance and is made of heat-resistant PC plastic material.

4. The lens is treated with special methods to ensure that it will not fall off.

5. A lower vf value (3.1v-3.5v) can reduce dissipated power, heat generation, and prolong the working time of LEDs.
